This body of work consists of three large scale pencil drawings of the Intermediate Review Graduate Assessment Form that are used by the professors to evaluate the student. I stealthily acquired handwriting samples from the three faculty members and incorporated their handwriting style into the drawings, as if they had filled out the forms, marking every category "Excellent"; yielding a playful prediction of the future with an ambiguous arrogance.  Historically aligning itself within the lineage of institutional critique, (specifically teacher student evaluation art), these drawings could function as homages to Langston Hughes'  "Theme for English B". By actually including the professor in the creative work itself, it blurs the line between viewer and subject, and really solidifies an awareness of the present moment.  Bringing attention to the object hood of the forms, I made them large and on paper.  This project is part of my personal progression of using Art as Comedy without merely juxtaposing two opposites and delighting at the silliness of their pairing.
